We have invited ALL the local candidates running for Mayor and City Council positions in McHenry to attend our Mayor and City Council Election Forum. While we had hoped to provide a structured Q&A forum where residents could hear directly from all candidates, all of the candidates opposing those attending have chosen not to participate. Rather than canceling the event, we are transforming it into a Meet & Greet with the candidates who remain committed to open dialogue and transparency.

While this event won’t have a formal forum format, it will still be a valuable opportunity to engage directly with candidates who are willing to show up and listen to voters.
Each candidate will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and to set up a display table with information, signs, etc.
