(And for the record, there’s no one in the band named Freddy Jones.)
The Freddy Jones Band continues to deliver the unmistakable sound that made them one of the most enduring names in American rock. Known for their infectious melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and unmatched live energy, the band remains a powerful force on stage and in the studio.
At the heart of the Freddy Jones Band is founding member Marty Lloyd, the voice and songwriter behind their signature hit “In a Daydream,” which reached #1 on AAA radio and #26 on the Billboard Hot 100. Alongside him is longtime bassist Rich Ross, who has also spent years touring with The Samples, the amazing Rockwell Jacobs on guitar, and powerhouse drummer Jeremy Colson (of Steve Vai). Together they create the vibrant chemistry and musical authenticity that have defined the band for more than three decades.
In 2026 the Freddy Jones Band continues to build on their legacy with the release of their brand-new single “No Money in Vegas,” produced by Grammy Award-winner JJ Blair (Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart). Recorded in the Hollywood Hills, the track captures the band’s signature blend of Americana and rock, infused with modern production and soulful authenticity.
This year’s tour will feature the majority of the band’s hit songs from the 1990s, including fan favorites like “In a Daydream,” “Take the Time,” “Waitress,” and “Hold on to Midnight,” along with a few powerful new tracks that showcase their continued evolution.
Now fully independent, the Freddy Jones Band writes, records, and tours on their own terms, remaining true to their roots while continuing to evolve. Their commitment to authenticity, musical excellence, and real connection with fans keeps them as vital and relevant as ever.
Over the years, the Freddy Jones Band has shared stages with Big Head Todd & The Monsters, The Wallflowers, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, Sheryl Crow, Sister Hazel, Train, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many more. Their passionate performances and genuine songwriting continue to resonate deeply with audiences across the country.
